My EDC
An everyday carry, otherwise known as an EDC, is something that we all have. It can be as simple as just your phone and keys, or as complicated as half your home shoved into a bag. Whatever it is, I love seeing other people's EDCs. When I used to use social media regularly, I would head to r/dumbphones and r/EDC to see what people were carrying around with them (also to see their cool pieces of tech).
It's important to note that people don't usually carry all of those things on a daily basis. Sometimes, it's just to flex their collection without actually making too obvious. Honestly, I couldn't care less; I want to see whatever interests you and is important enough that you might bring out and about.
Anyway, I'm constantly looking for new ways to improve my EDC, whether that be with new methods of decentralizing my phone or just carrying less some days. Below, I have outlined my typical EDC on both normal and eventful days.

In the future, I'd love to add a few things to truly make this my ideal EDC:
- E-reader (leaning towards Kobo Clara BW)
- Flip phone (potentially Kyocera; A202KC, 902/903KC, KY-42C)
- Over-ear headphones (I love the sound of the Bose QC)
- Messenger bag
As for what I carry my items in, it really depends on the day. My normal EDC typically fits in my jorts or Uniqlo cargo pants. When I carry more, I have a couple of options:
- Cloud Nine Crew Everyday Tote Bag (This is a lifesaver; it fits everything I would ever want to carry)
- Kehpish Tote Bag (This bag is a close second. It definitely does not fit as much as the aforementioned bag, but it definitely showcases my personality and is easy to carry. I've gotten a lot of compliments because of it. I do have some gripes with it though because it's obviously cheaply made and I thought it would be a messenger bag...)
- Five Below Hello Kitty crossbody bag (This is if I want to carry my usual EDC and a water bottle)
